Resilient Intersection Management With Multi-Vehicle Collision Avoidance

In this paper, we propose a novel decentralised agent-based mechanism for road intersection management connected autonomous vehicles. our work focus on obstructions causing major traffic delays. doing so, the first able to maximise overall vehicle throughput at intersections in presence of obstructions. The distributed algorithm transfers most computational cost from manager driving agents, thereby improving scalability. Our realistic empirical experiments using SUMO show that, when an obstacle is located entrance or middle intersection, existing state art algorithms and lights reduced 65–90% optimal point without while can maintain up 94–99%.
